Questions and answers

Everything below applies to our cleaning service in Tampa, South Tampa, St. Petersburg, Brandon, and the surrounding Tampa Bay area. If your question is not here, ask us on the quote form and we will answer it.

Getting started

How do I get a price?

Use the estimate tool on the quote page. Enter your square footage, bedrooms, and bathrooms and you get a range immediately. Homes start at $100 a visit, a two bedroom one bath usually lands between $140 and $170, and a three bedroom two bath is closer to $195 to $235. Send it over and we confirm the number, usually the same day.

Do you charge for the quote?

No. Quotes and walkthroughs are free.

How soon can you start?

Usually within a week for homes. Short-term rental turnovers can start sooner if the calendar allows.

Is there a contract?

Recurring home cleaning runs on a simple written agreement you can cancel with notice. Rental turnovers and commercial work are always under a written agreement.

Pricing

Why is the first clean more expensive?

A first visit brings a place up to standard. Every visit after that keeps it there, which is less work.

What if I skip a few visits?

If more than a month passes between visits, the next one is priced as a deep clean again. We tell you before it happens, not after.

Is the estimate the final price?

It is a real range for a home in reasonable condition. We confirm the number before anything is scheduled, and if a property needs more than a normal clean we tell you what it takes before we start.

Do you offer discounts for recurring service?

Yes. Weekly and biweekly visits are priced below monthly and one-time work, because the home stays in better shape.

How do I pay?

Card on file, billed automatically after each visit or on your recurring schedule. Commercial accounts can be invoiced.

The work itself

Do I have to be home?

No, and most of our recurring clients are not. We use a code, a lockbox, or whatever access you already have, and you get photos when the job is finished.

Do you bring your own supplies?

We bring our own supplies. For homes we use the vacuum, mop, and broom already there rather than carrying ours in from another house.

Is laundry included?

Not in a standard home clean, and we quote it separately. For short-term rental turnovers, linens and towels are always included.

Can I request the same cleaner?

That is the default. You get the same person each visit and a named backup for the weeks they cannot make it.

What is the difference between the three levels?

Standard covers kitchen, bathrooms, floors, surfaces, dusting, and trash. Pro adds baseboards, door frames, light fixtures, and detail work. Executive adds inside the oven, inside the refrigerator, and inside cabinets.

What do you not do?

No mold remediation, biohazard cleanup, pest control, hoarding cleanup, exterior pressure washing, carpet extraction, or duct cleaning. Some of that we can arrange through a partner.

Trust and safety

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry commercial general liability insurance and janitorial bonding, and we can name a building or management company as an additional insured where a contract requires it.

How do you handle keys and door codes?

Access information is stored in our scheduling system, shared only with the cleaner assigned to your property, and removed when service ends. Ask us to change or delete a code and we do it.

What happens if something is damaged or missing?

Tell us in writing within seventy-two hours. We investigate every report, document it, and work it through our insurance where it applies.

Who is actually coming to my house?

A Renovar cleaner, named in your confirmation message before the visit. We do not subcontract your job to a stranger.

Rentals and commercial

Do you work with short-term rentals?

Yes. We connect to your booking calendar, so we see the checkout and the next check-in without you telling us. Laundry, restock, inventory check, and photo proof are part of every turnover.

What if a guest leaves a mess?

Biohazard, vomit, smoke damage, and party aftermath are charged on top of the turnover rate, and the amounts are in your agreement before we start.

Do you clean offices?

Yes, and condo and HOA common areas and multi-unit buildings. Commercial work is quoted per building after a walkthrough, usually scheduled at night or on weekends.

Can you provide a certificate of insurance for my building?

Yes, on request, including additional insured status where your contract requires it.

Scheduling and access

What happens if I need to reschedule?

Give us twenty-four hours and we move you at no charge. Inside that window there may be a fee, since the slot was held for you and the cleaner was scheduled to work it.

What if nobody can let you in?

We will call and text. If we cannot get in, a lock-out fee applies, because the crew still drove out and still lost the slot. Giving us a code or a lockbox avoids this entirely.

Can I get a specific day and time?

Yes. Recurring clients get a standing slot, and we hold it for you.

Do you work weekends?

Yes for rentals and commercial. Weekend residential slots exist but fill first.

How long does a clean take?

A 1,200 square foot home takes roughly three labor hours. Two cleaners cut the time on site to about half that.

Do you clean on holidays?

No, and we reschedule anyone whose regular day falls on one.

Cost and value

Why not just hire someone off Facebook for less?

You can, and plenty of people do. What you give up is insurance, a written agreement, a background-checked crew, a documented record of every visit, and somebody to call when it goes wrong. When something breaks or goes missing, that difference is the whole ballgame.

Are there hidden fees?

No. The price you are quoted is the price you pay. Extras like laundry or a biohazard situation are priced up front in writing before we start.

Do you charge extra for pets?

Only where pet hair genuinely adds time, and we tell you before the first visit rather than surprising you on the invoice.

Is tipping expected?

Never expected, always appreciated, and it goes straight to your cleaner.

What if I am not happy with a clean?

Tell us within twenty-four hours and we come back and redo the areas that missed, at no charge.

Reliability

What if my cleaner is sick?

You get your named backup, and you get a message before the visit telling you who is coming. You do not find out at the door.

Do you actually show up?

Yes, and you get a confirmation twenty-four hours out so you never have to wonder. Consistency is the whole reason this business exists.

Are your cleaners employees or contractors?

Cleaners are engaged in accordance with federal and Florida law on worker classification, and everyone working in your home is covered by our insurance.

Do you background check?

Every person who enters a client property is screened before their first job.

Do you speak Spanish?

Yes. Renovar means to renew in Spanish and Portuguese, and we work in both English and Spanish.

Green cleaning and products

What products do you use?

Standard commercial-grade products that are effective and safe for homes with kids and pets when used as directed.

Can you use my products instead?

Yes. Leave them out and tell us, and that is what we will use.

Do you offer eco-friendly or fragrance-free cleaning?

Yes, on request, at no extra charge. Tell us on the quote form.

Still have a question?

Ask it on the quote form. We answer the same day.
